A beautiful reproduction of a General Staff Officer’s saber, Vendémiaire model, Year XII. Checkered wooden grip. Chiseled, silver-plated brass fittings. Single-bar guard. Fishtail knot on the helmet atop a bundle of flags. Curved blade with a flat back and waxed edges, engraved, gilded, and blued one-third of the way along its length. Leather-covered scabbard with two brass fittings, chiseled and silver-plated. EM (wear, oxidation, damage, missing parts)
