Russian officer’s saber, Model 1909. Composite hilt. Chiseled brass mountings. Short-tailed pommel, marked “H II” (Nicholas II) with a crown. Single-bar guard. Long blade, strongly curved, with two blood grooves, decorated in recesses: on one side with the double-headed eagle and on the other with the crowned “H II” monogram; marked at the heel “Carl Eickhorn Solingen.” Scabbard with two iron bands, showing traces of nickel plating. EM (wear and tear, crack in the handle, ring at the base of the handle missing)
