British Naval Officer’s Saber. Handle covered in shagreen, with filigree. Chiseled brass mountings. Long-tailed pommel, topped with a lion’s head. Single-branch guard with a shell decorated with a crowned anchor. Hollow-edged blade, engraved over two-thirds of its length. Leather scabbard with three cut-out brass fittings, decorated with line work. Manufactured by Manton & Co., England. ABE (wear on the leather)
